Why the Centurions tier 7 lose the Pilas? Don't they fight with Pilas?

It's just a tier difference.  T6 Heavies lost the heavy pila until T7, mediums lose the light pila at T7 until T8, but atleast you get the skill reposition.

They get a reposition skill, which allows them to flan really well.  Why no pila? My guess is they limit the number of unit skills.  If I had to choose, I'd go with reposition, because that allows them to flank and route units much easier.  I'll take that any day over doing maybe a 1/5 to a 1/4 damage to one unit.  But everyone has their own playstyle.  As the Roman units level, they try and add different skills, which allows different tactics and variety.

But I can understand as I stopped at Tier 5 Greek archers because they lacked rapid shot, which,I loved at Tier 5.  But some people prefer aimed shot.  To each his own.

Variety is the spice of life.  Reposition allows much easier routing.
