Well the first hability of this general is a defensive formation but playing it with romans mean having to chose between this one or the other one that gives less defens but gives more sustain as romans rotate and the shield push. What do you think is more usefull?

Choose? Both are useful, and there will be times when Fortify might be better or formed combat.

Flaxmen ignore shield defense. So Formed Combat will be better than fortify against them. However, i think when maxed out, fortify provides more defense outright, so mire useful if you really need to hunker down and withstand a looooong fight.

Or use him for cavalry.....He can be amazingly tanky in the right circumstance..........Hold forever and a day........
