Apparently, for some reason most of the total war games published before don't support Chinese, and none of the total war games involved with the china. It seems like the 5000+ years history of wars in ancient china somehow is not attractive to The Creative Assembly. This announcement of publishing in china indeed cheer up the total war fans in china. Regarding the 'localized' Chinese version you mentioned in the FAQ, does the CN server going to have the same content as it has in NA/EU server, or the Chinese version contains special Chinese units and its unique tech trees?

In 2010 KongZhong corporation partnered with WG so that World of Tanks could be sold in China. KongZhong controls WoT in China, and as a result the CN servers have different content from all the other WoT servers. If WG do a deal with KongZhong (or for that matter another Chinese company) because of Chinese laws the Chinese company will be in control of the domestic market product when the game is sold in China.
So in answer to you question; "does the CN server going to have the same content as it has in NA/EU server" the answer will be probably not.
and in answer to your second question will "the Chinese version contains special Chinese units and its unique tech trees?" the answer is probably yes.
As an example the tier VIII premium medium tank Type 59 is no longer sold on NA, SEA, EU or RU servers (it can be an occassional prize reward). It is still for sale on the CN server.
On the CN server there is a more expensive version of the Type 59, the Type 59G which is gold and has a dragon embedded into the armour. This item has never been sold on NA, SEA, EU or RU servers.
CN also has Pz.Kpfw. V Berge-Panther Alpha and Pz.Kpfw. V Berge-Panther, which have never been available on NA, SEA, EU or RU servers.
