Hi All,

 

As we don't have any subforum for game mechanics, I'd like to open one here.

 

This thread is the place to discuss the Arena mechanics such as how to determine hit/miss in combat, which elements of the stats contribute to the victory in an engagement or unit survivability, and so on.

 

Reference: I would suggest the following reading of Warscape engine (as I assume Total War: Arena uses the same/similar engine to Total War: Rome II which employs Warscape) for the basic game mechanics:

Disclaimer: I am no expert in the Warscape mechanics. I stopped playing Total War: Rome II because of its technical issues, and Arena is the only Total War I have played since Shogun 2. I hope I will learn many new things from this discussion.
