This guide will be obsolete after CBT Patch 2.2.1 is deployed on 10/2.

In the video below I explain when the 'Wavering' mechanic activates and what it does to your units.

You take a morale hit if your commander dies, making it much more likely for your other units to rout. Makes sense as it is to me.

What I think is ridiculous is the mechanic that makes nearly fully manned units to rout almost instantly if attacked from sides. You can see this in combat if you have 3v3 units face to face, and use all 3 units to focus one of the enemy's. It'll say "right flank!" "left flank!" and then often they'll rout, even though they're not REALLY being flanked.

This wavering mechanic I really don't like either. I don't understand how your unit is wavering when out of combat but not IN combat. This should be reversed, which would remove the current problem of "one man standing" to fight 100 units.

Maybe if it increase when the battle start again then it would make more sense.

The wavering mechanic changing in update 2.2.1 will make this video guide obsolete. Dance, could you archive it or simply remove it from the guides section so nobody is misled?
